Hey Chris:

I can never keep up with you on sports talk, I know the Nuggets are looking good but I don't know the specifics. I hardly ever drive anymore so I don't get to listen to the radio much. The end result is that I am behind on music and sports.

As for Harriet Miers in some ways I think she would have been better than the next pick Bush makes, mostly because Dobson was starting to sour on her. If Dobson is against someone you know they are probably OK. At this point Bush is going to have to hit a homerun with the base, if he wants to have any support for the rest of his term.
Part of the problem for the right wing with the judiciary is that judges due to their lifetime appointments do not have to depend on contributions, this makes them prone to do the right thing not just what they think will get them reelected. The end result is that most judges get more moderate as they serve. In addition it is hard to find a laywer that does not respect the law, the end result is that Bush is going to have a hard time finding a wingnut to serve. At least I am hoping that is what happens.

I am kind of sad to see Miers go, it was entertaining to watch the GOP feed on itself over this nomination. Without a doubt the country is better off without Harriet miers on the supreme court. It will be interesting to see who Bush appoints next.

Eric - We're starting right now, Mark is on the clock. Lebron is eligible as a Sophmore keeper because he just completed his 2nd year. Think about it in terms of Dwight Howard...he just completed his first season, and after this year he'll still be eligible for the rookie/sophmore keeper slot. It's all good.
