Out of ideas?

“At the end of the day, I believe fully the president is doing the right thing, and I think all we need is some attacks on American soil like we had on [Sept. 11, 2001 ], and the naysayers will come around very quickly to appreciate not only the commitment for President Bush, but the sacrifice that has been made by men and women to protect this country” – Dennis Milligan, Arkansas Republican Party Chairman

The GOP was always single issue oriented & this is one that works like no other. I think it’s the GOP 2008 party platform. The motto can be “Attack America & the GOP wins.”

Why is it that pro-lifers are so obsessed with death? Down with abortion, but up with death penalty, guns, War, and terror attacks.

Well put. I think they’re being too simple with this one right here though. If a big one is pulled off, there’s a trail of half-ass mismanagement to rely on in explaining why. It’d be on their watch under the system they established. With Iraq, with Guantanamo, with torture…I’d have to chalk it up to the effect of our policies, and as a nation we’d have to be absolutely mindless to once again ignore the evidence and simply pretend like we had nothing to do with “why they hate us”, as we did after 9/11.
